How Our 4 Favourite Spanish Fashion Bloggers Do Spring Style
While you might not think of Madrid as a fashion capital like Paris or Milan, the Spanish fashion industry has a huge impact on the way we dress thanks to Zara, Mango, Uterqüe and other high-street giants. Here at Who What Wear, we are always looking for new style inspiration and influencers who we can add to our Instagram feeds, so this week we’re turning our attention to Spain’s most popular girls on social media.Summer is (finally) on its way, and many of us are currently in a packing flap for upcoming Easter beach holidays. While we spend only a few weeks a year by the beach, our four favourite Spanish bloggers have holiday dressing down, as not only have they spent their whole lives in white sun dresses and espadrilles, but travelling is also a part of their job description. Scroll through the gallery below to meet four of our favourite Spanish bloggers, plus shop our edit of the key pieces to nail summer style with a Spanish lilt.Style Notes: Spanish girls love oversize gold earrings, and Teresa shows that they look amazing when paired with gold rings and a crisp white shirt with tassels.Style Notes: Teresa (like many of our readers) loves a statement sleeve, and here she pairs her white blouse with black ribbons looped around the cuffs with a black miniskirt and rose-tinted sunglasses.Style Notes: Gala González has a huge following on Instagram (over 700k), and although she currently lives in the United States, she still sticks to signature Spanish pieces, such as a beach-ready wicker handbag and sand-coloured suede boots.Style Notes: In the summer, Gala is usually carrying a wicker basket, and here she pairs one with a white Reformation sundress, black chunky sandals and a straw hat with a pretty black ribbon at the rim.Style Notes: Sara from Collage Vintage is another super-blogger, with over 700k followers, and now she travels constantly, so she is a never-ending source of holiday-dressing inspiration. Here, she shows that a tiered, ruffled skirt, gold hoop earrings and block-heel sandals are always going to be beach essentials.Style Notes: Espadrilles are, of course, a Spanish signature item, and Sara shows that they are a timeless piece, wearing her wedges with a blue printed minidress.Style Notes: Alexandra Pereira is perhaps Spain’s most successful fashion blogger with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram, and she is now based in the U.S. Alexandra shows that one of the most useful items for a beach holiday is a silk printed scarf, as it can also double as a chic headband.Style Notes: White T-shirts with red logos and writing have been a surprise hit this year and keep selling out, and Alexandra shows that they look particularly striking when paired with a red scarf.
